Amelia Island Shopping Adventures

The historic district of downtown Fernandina Beach is where Amelia Island residents and visitors go to shop. It is home to a variety of boutique and specialty shops including several great destinations for local art, antiques, vintage decor, gifts, sweet treats, and so much more. Spend the day strolling the blocks and browsing shops in the community.

Art & Antique Shops on Amelia Island

  • Eileen's Art & Antiques Centre

    More than 6,000 square feet are needed to house the vast collections from the 75 different artists and antiques dealers showing their pieces here. Some of the unique items you can expect to find include stained glass, paintings, furniture, mantles, mirrors, vintage clothing, and ceramics.

  • Island Art Association

    The Island Art Association was formed in the 1970s by a small group of local artists. The first gallery was established in 1979, and they have undergone many changes since then. Officially incorporated in 1982, the mission of the IAA is to develop and sustain an interest, appreciation, and enjoyment in and of the arts of Nassau County. 

    Today, the gallery is buzzing with activity and the Amelia Island Co-op showcases over 50 local artists. You'll find a variety of items including pottery, sculpture, jewelry, photography, fiber art, and stained glass. An Art Education Center is also available with free art classes for children and seniors.

  • Trailer Park Collectibles

    With more than 5,000 square feet of collectibles, there is something for everyone at this dog-friendly shop. The collections include primitive antiques, yard art, second hand finds, and much more. There are 30 different dealers, and even more will be added this spring following the current expansion project.

  • Fernandina's Fantastic Fudge

    Known as THE hot spot on Amelia Island, this shop is filled to the brim with delectable and irresistible treats of every kind. Family owned and operated since 1988, Fantastic Fudge serves ice cream, chocolates, candies, coffee, popcorn, and of course, their famous fudge.

  • Fernandina Beach Market Place

    Enjoy locally grown produce while visiting with your neighbors at the Fernandina Beach Market Place. Located on North 7th Street in downtown Fernandina Beach, the farmers market is open every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. all year long, rain or shine. Don't forget about your furry friends while you're out shopping. Stop in at Redbones to select from the best holistic and organic foods and treats that are perfect for your pets or for gifts.
