Golfing at Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach

Although Amelia Island is considered small in size, it is home to three world-class golf clubs that are as stunning as they are challenging.

Amelia River Golf Club

One of the most prestigious courses in Florida, The Amelia River Golf Club is known for its smooth greens, manicured fairways, and challenging pin positions. The track was designed by Tom Jackson, and is carved through a forest of oaks, pines, palms, and myrtles.

The 18-hole course is open to golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experts. Large greens and rolling fairways offer golfers an exquisite experience. The first hole is right along the border of the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport, and the journey ends at the edge of the Amelia River.

Tee times are available throughout the day and can be reserved in advance by visiting the reservations section of their website or by calling (904) 491-8500

Fernandina Beach Golf Club

Enjoy 27 holes of fun under the warm Florida sun at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club. Relax on the generous fairways and enjoy the native plants and foliage as you travel each of the 3,000 yard courses.

Fernandina Beach Golf Club is an affordable place to bring your friends and family for your next event or special outing. Packages and options are available for outings including customized rule sheets, scorecards, and signage, and experienced cart staff.

Fernandina Beach Golf Club is located at 2800 Bill Melton Road in Fernandina Beach. Weekday rates start at $15.50 and weekend rates start at $17.50 with special pricing for junior golfers. For tee time reservations, or for more information on scheduling your next event, call (904) 310-3175.

The Golf Club of Amelia Island

The Golf Club of Amelia Island offers a wide variety of activities and sports to enhance your experience. From holiday parties to book clubs to happy hour, The Golf Club strives to be the place to be to meet new friends and enjoy a day out.

The 18-hole golf course winds along the Atlantic shoreline and is as challenging as it is beautiful. PGA veterans Mark McCumber and Gene Littler designed the course to be very playable and it was named Best New Course in 1988. The front nine is arranged around large oaks and lakes while the back nine is secluded in marshes that reward accurate shots.

No matter your score, complete your game with drinks and snacks in the Legends Lounge at the 19th hole. Bigger appetites can head to the dining room to enjoy a full menu of meals including soups and sandwiches and brunch on Sunday.

The Golf Club of Amelia Island is located at 4700 Amelia Island Parkway in Fernandina Beach.
